Each player \u201cbuys in\u201d for a certain amount of chips. Each chip has a different color and value. The white chip is worth a minimum bet or ante, the red one is worth five whites and the blue is worth twenty whites. The dealer starts the hand by dealing each player two hole cards. Then a round of betting begins, with the player to the left of the dealer placing their bets first.<\/p>\n
After the first betting round is complete, the dealer deals three more cards face up on the board that everyone can use. This is called the flop. There\u2019s another round of betting, and the player with the best five-card poker hand wins the pot.<\/p>\n
