The highest poker hand is a royal flush, which consists of all 5 matching cards of the same rank. A straight is 5 consecutive cards of the same suit. Three of a kind is 3 matching cards of the same rank. Two pair is two cards of the same rank plus one unmatched card.<\/p>\n
While there are many different variations of poker, most involve the same basic rules. To make your story more interesting, you should focus on the players’ reactions to the cards they are dealt and their attempts to bluff each other.
